5 flights cancelled, trains delayed in Chandigarh due to fog

Most of the flights are around one hour behind schedule

Chandigarh/Mohali, January 22

Five morning flights were cancelled due to fog and low visibility, on Monday, at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh.

Three morning flight departures to Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad were cancelled while two morning flight arrivals from Pune and Bengaluru were cancelled. Most of the flights were around one hour behind schedule.

The New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi was rescheduled to 10.30 am against its usual departure of 7.40 am.

The morning Kalka- New Delhi Shatabdi was delayed by 33 minutes.

The Netaji Express arrived 2.16 hours late at the Chandigarh railway station.

The Lucknow Chandigarh Express was delayed by 25 minutes.
