4 held with 20 intoxicant vials

Mohali: The police arrested four suspects and recovered 20 intoxicant injections and a white car from them near the Landran chowk here on Monday. The suspects have been identified as Yogesh Kumar (23), a resident of Sohana; Gurmukh Singh (31), a resident of Faidan; Harinder Singh, alias Honey (22), a resident of Burail, and Gurjinder Singh (42), a resident of Bakarpur. A case has been registered against the suspects under the NDPS Act. The police said the suspects were going towards Kharar from the Banur side in a car with narcotic injections. They used to supply these injections to their customers in Mohali and Kharar areas. The police cordoned off the area near the Landran chowk and seized the vehicle. — TNS
