4 deaths, 141 new cases of COVID-19 in Mohali

As many as 98 recoveries were also reported in the city

Four deaths and 141 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from Mohali on Sunday.

As many as 98 recoveries were also reported in the city.

A 63-year-old woman from Derabassi died at Indus Hospital in Derabassi. At GMCH Patiala, there were two fatalities as a 50-year-old man from Sector 105, Mohali, and a 65-year-old woman from Sunny Enclave lost their lives.

A 60-year-old man from Kailon died at Ivy Hospital in Mohali. All the patients were having multiple co-morbidities such as diabetes and hypertension.

As many as 47 COVID-19 cases were detected in Mohali city alone today. Kharar (29), Zirakpur (21), Boothgarh block (20), Gharuan (19), Dera Bassi (4) and Banur (1) also figured in the list.

As of now, there are a total of 2,702 cases in the district. There are 1,241 active cases while 1,409 patients have been discharged from various hospitals. With four deaths today, the toll has reached 52 in the district.

Three deaths, 144 cases and 56 recoveries were reported from Mohali yesterday.
