3 held with six two-wheelers

Chandigarh, December 15

Three youths have been arrested by the local police for vehicle thefts. Six two-wheelers have been recovered from them.

A team of the Sector 11 police station nabbed Bharat (19), a resident of Dhanas, at a naka on the road separating Sector 11 and 15 while riding an Activa, which was stolen from Dhanas. During his interrogation, he disclosed that he had also committed a burglary at a house in Sector 11 last month. A purse containing Rs 5,000 and documents was stolen from the house.

The police also arrested two youths, Kamal Kumar (20) and Abhishek (19), both residents of Sector 24, for stealing two-wheelers. The police said they were arrested at a naka in Sector 24 while riding a motorcycle bearing a fake registration number. The motorcycle was stolen by them from Sector 24 a few days ago. — TNS
