12 new Covid-19 cases in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, December 24

As many as 12 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Chandigarh on Friday with a positivity rate of 0.88 per cent.

The average number of positive cases in the last seven days has been 11.

The number of cumulative cases of Covid-19 in Chandigarh has reached 65,754.

The death toll remains 1078 as no new death was reported.

The number of active cases has reached 103 as 1368 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

A total of six patients were discharged, including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.

As many as 64,573 patients have been cured till date.
