Central team to probe kids’ death

Jammu, January 18

A Central team of experts, deployed by Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, would soon visit J&K to investigate death of at least 12 children due to unknown disease, being reported from Ramnagar block of Udhampur district.

The team will assist the J&K Health Department to investigate the cause of paediatric deaths and instituting requisite public health measures.

The team, upon completion of their activities, will submit a report to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. — TNS
