Commercial LPG cylinder price cut by Rs 36.50

The Centre on Monday reduced the price for a commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Rs 36.50 with immediate effect but kept the price for domestic LPG cylinder unchanged. Besides, in the first reduction after 10 rounds of price hikes, jet fuel price was cut by 12 per cent to Rs 1.21 lakh per kilolitre.

The price of the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 36 in Delhi in line with softening international rates. It will now cost Rs 1,976 here versus Rs 2,012.50.

On July 1 as well, the price of commercial LPG, used by hotels, restaurants and other business establishments, was cut by Rs 36 per 19-kg cylinder.
