Citroen India begins home delivery of C5 Aircross SUV

New Delhi: Automaker Citroen on Wednesday said it has commenced home deliveries of C5 Aircross SUV, its first model in the Indian market. The company is taking online bookings and then directly delivering the SUV to customers from its Tiruvallur-based (near Chennai) plant. PTI

The government has merged the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) with the Finance Ministry. The Finance Ministry will now have six departments while DPE’s hereto parent ministry, the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, will now be called the Ministry of Heavy Industries. PTI

Nucleus Software to hire over 500 engineers

Nucleus Software, which provides lending and transaction banking solutions, on Wednesday said it is planning to hire 500 engineers by the end of the year. This will be undertaken through tie-ups with engineering colleges across Rajasthan, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and through direct hiring, it said. PTI

Moglix buys e-comm platform Vendaxo

B2B commerce company Moglix on Wednesday said it has acquired Vendaxo, an e-commerce platform for buying and selling used machinery. Tiger Global-backed Moglix said it wants to provide access to high-value capital goods at economical prices to manufacturers through this acquisition. PTI
