Avi Mittal opens up about his love for travelling, says “to travel is to meditate”

For those who follow the business circuit, Avi Mittal is a name that often pops up. He is the Managing Partner of Golden Ace Ventures and the Committee chair of the BRICS young leaders chamber for commerce and Industry. Avi is also the global director of business development at the Super Fight League and the Super Boxing League.

Avi is the text book definition of a serial entrepreneur and has various ventures underway. He spends most of his time working but he believes it is also extremely important to do something that brings personal satisfaction and for him, it’s travelling.

Whenever it’s possible for him, the entrepreneur takes time out travel to new destinations and has had quite a lot of experiences over the years. When asked about his love for travelling, Avi shares, “until now, I’ve traveled to 50 countries. Whether I am on a leisure trip or even a business trip, I make it a point to go out and explore as much as I can.”

He further adds, “For me, all of it is a learning experience and it brings a sense of satisfaction. Travelling for me is as good as meditation and it also helps me gain perspective of what’s happening in different places and how I can bring this new knowledge back and apply it to my ventures.”

Avi also speaks about his love for deep sea diving and shares, “As you grow, you can discover what catches your eye when you’re travelling to new destinations. For me the most recent thing is deep sea diving. I tried it on one of my trips to the Maldives and it was a unique experience. I applied for a certification in deep sea diving, following which I did the course for an intermediate certification and planned to do it on an advanced level as well before covid struck. Once things resume, I will complete that as well.”

Avi is one of the most notable names in the Indian subcontinent when it comes to entrepreneurship and he serves as an inspiration to many aspiring people.
