Use technology to reshape education system: Experts

The SD College of Education, in collaboration with the Council of Teacher Education, organised a national seminar on ‘Indian education system: Capacity building and employability’. In his welcome address, college principal Dr Tapan Kumar Sahoo laid emphasis on various aspects of education. Jatinder Nath Sharma, general secretary of the college, also interacted with delegates and shared his views on the theme of the seminar.

Dr Sanjay Kaushik from Panjab University, Chandigarh, stressed need to strengthen teaching and learning activity by using technological devices.

Dr Pushpinder Gill from Punjabi University, Patiala, stressed importance of the seminar as a platform to discuss the role of integrating technology in education system.

Dr Pargat Singh Garcha focused on using ICT in higher education to reshape the education system. He further laid stress on the importance of using digital technology to provide learning experiences similar to that provided in entertainment.
