Outgoing students recall old memories

A farewell function was organised by BCA and MCA students of the SSD Women’s Institute of Technology (SSDWIT), which comprised various fun and frolic activities. The programme was organised in the honour of outgoing students.

The function was started with a lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a traditional ‘ashirwad’ and cake-cutting event. SSDWIT principal Neeru Garg and Anu Malhotra, principal of the SSD Girls’ College of Education, were among those present on the occasion.

Outgoing students walked the ramp and on the basis of multiple rounds, they were awarded various titles. Harpreet Kaur of BBA III won the title of Miss WIT, Rajni of MCA-III was first runners-up, Jaspreet Kaur of MCA III was second runners-up, Tanya Garg BBA III was adjudged as ‘Malika-e-Polak’, Rajpreet Kaur of MCA III was adjudged as ‘Malika-e-Musarrat’.

Students took part in various events with a great enthusiasm. The venue was decorated by them in a creative way. Neeru Garg wished the outgoing students a bright future ahead. The outgoing students ruminated about the past and departed from college with heavy hearts.
