The pilot of an acrobatic plane was killed on Saturday after it plummeted to the ground during a flight show in northwest China’s Gansu Province, the event organiser said.

The plane crashed at the 1st Silk Road International General Aviation Convention in the city of Zhangye caused, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

No casualties were caused on the ground due to the crash, the report said. — PTI
