Washington, March 19
There was “no evidence of collusion” between US President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia in the run up to the last year’s presidential polls, the head of a congressional committee on intelligence said today.
“I will give you very simple answer: No,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes told Fox News when asked if he has access to classified intelligence information, any evidence of collusion between the Trump's presidential campaign and Russia.
There is no physical “evidence” of the allegations of Trump that Trump Towers in New York was subject to wiretapping at the direction of his predecessor Barack Obama, Nunes said. “The President does not go and physically wiretapped something. So if you take the President literally, it didn’t happen,” he said. — PTI
