Labour crisis follows Brexit

UK’s Opposition Labour Party on Sunday faced a full-blown revolt after its leader Jeremy Corbyn sacked his foreign secy, which was followed by resignations of other key shadow cabinet members. Differences also emerged over “lacklustre” handling of the EU referendum by Corbyn, already facing no-confidence motion within party.

Differences also emerged over “lacklustre” handling of the EU referendum by Corbyn, already facing no-confidence motion within party 

Britain’s ruling Conservatives, too, are reeling from the referendum result as a bitter leadership contest is on in the party

Scotland, meanwhile, has said it will do whatever it takes to remain in the EU, including potentially blocking legislation on a British exit from the bloc  

Racist leaflets

The British police have started investigating incidents involving racist messages against the country’s Polish community that appeared after the Brexit win 

Racist leaflets were distributed among mailboxes belonging to residents of Polish descent in Huntingdon, which said: “Leave the EU, no more Polish vermin”
