With her dangling tongue, obtruding mouth and crooked teeth and muscular figure, Zsa earned her transitory moments of fame last month as she became the winner of the 2018 World’s Ugliest Dog contest held in California. Zsa Zsa won over the competition’s judges and collected a $1,500 prize along with a trophy and a flight to New York. PTI

Winnie the Pooh map sells for record $570,000

London: A hand-written, original map of Winnie the Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood was on Wednesday auctioned for a whopping $570,000, smashing all previous world records for a book illustration. Carved by EH Shepherd, the drawing of the map which appears inside the cover of AA Milne’s beloved book ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’, was sold by Sotheby’s. “The original drawing of Winnie-the-Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood sells for $570,027 to set new record for any book illustration sold at auction,” Sotheby’s tweeted. The auction house described the 1926 drawing, which was unseen for 50 years, as “possibly the most famous map in children’s literature.” PTI

Protesting social media tax
