The MA examination results

THE results of the examination for the degree of Master of Arts in English lately declared contain two notable achievements, which deserve prominent mention. Mr. Madan Gopal Singh of the Government College, who tops the list of successful candidate, has won a First class, a unique distinction in the Punjab University, which has never been achieved before, except once, in that subject. It is a highly creditable performance. The other achievement is that of Miss A. Dusart, Head Mistress of the Sacred Heart School, Lahore, whose name appears in the list of successful candidates at the same examination. The lady has the proud privilege of having furnished the Punjab University with its first lady M.A. Both are distinctions on which their recipients as well as the University have reason to congratulate themselves.
