PANDIT Balak Ram Pandya, a leading resident of Lahore and proprietor of the well known firm of Messrs. Basant Ram and Sons, Auditors of Accounts, has done a public service in publishing a book entitled "The Great War" in Hindi and Urdu for the benefit of the non-English knowing public. The object of the publication which is nicely illustrated with a number of half tone blocks, is to give the readers a right comprehension of the apparent and real causes of the War. The Hindi edition was specially opportune, as it was the first effort in that language to give an intelligent and comprehensive idea of the great issues involved.
