Scarcity of Fodder in Jind

IN view of the scarcity of fodder in the Jind State, Punjab, the Government of Indian have decided at the instance of the Jind Darbar, that with immediate effect and until further orders, freight on all consignment of fodder (excepting fodder for the Army Department) booked to Jind, Julana and Kinana stations on the North-Western Railway system (on the Southern Punjab Railway) shall be recovered for the consignor or the consignee at the rate of six pies four wheeled and one anna per bogie wagon per mile and that the balance of freight calculated at ordinary tariff rates shall be paid by the Jind Darbar.
