Muslim Girls’ School at Lucknow

FULLER accounts of the visit of Her Highness the Begum of Bhopal on the 12th instant to the Muslim Girls’ School at Lucknow show that about 70 ladies of the city were present to welcome the distinguished visitor. Her Highness who was given a splendid reception, examined the girls and inspected the classes and said in reply to an address that she would send a reply from Bhopal. On being told that the present monthly income of the school was only Rs. 1,000 whereas the expenses should be Rs. 3,000 to work satisfactorily, Her Highness promised a yearly donation of Rs. 1,200 to the school. She also invited the Lady Principal to go and see Her Highness School at Bhopal.
