Moderates and the Congress

Show comments

The last issue of the “Servant of India” answers those who have asked the moderate party to define its position in relation to the Indian National Congress in future. Our contemporary says the formation of a new political party does not mean that it would not participate in the deliberations of the national organisation. On the other hand, it is necessary that the party should, to influence and win over to its view those who think differently, consider the advisability of attending the Delhi Congress and taking part in its activities. Our contemporary thinks that if moderates attend the Delhi Congress, they should do so for their own special purpose.
