Major Gulab Singh

WE understand that His Highness the Maharaja of Patiala has accepted the services of Dr. Gulab Singh, Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon, Edinburgh, and an Eye Specialist, who has been granted a commission with the rank of Major and attached to 1st Rajputana Lancers of the Imperial Service Troops. Dr. Gulab Singh qualified at Edinburgh in 1911 and sat for the I.M.S. examination but failed to pass in health. He has been ordered to the front and will be leaving shortly, and will have the best wishes of his friends, and countrymen in the service of the King-Emperor and the Maharaja.
