Lala Sita Ram''s Case

IN the case against Lala Sita Ram, Executive Engineer, the examination-in-chief of Captain Vanrenen, the complaint, which began in the forenoon of Tuesday, the Ist instant, was to finish on Wednesday, the 9th. The cross-examination of this witness, would probably occupy eight days, excluding Sunday, the 13th. Then, it appears, from the statement made in the Court, the Commissioners would require to visit the spot. From what we learn this case will continue for at least another four weeks thereafter.
