Lahore medical school

THE latest date fixed by the Principal Medical College, Lahore, in his notice dated 26th March 1915 to the military medial pupils still out was 27th March after which he had "been directed by the Director General, Indian Medical Service, not to receive military students' applications to return to classes on any consideration whatever." The students, we understand, expressed to the Principal in reply that they were ready to return, as they had always been, in obedience to the Director General's order, if they were taken without any conditions and consideration of their grievances was promised. The time prescribed passed off without any further effort on either side, and none of the remaining 95 students applied for admission on the terms stipulated by the Principal in his former notice.
