NEW DELHI, May 31 (PTI)-India does not believe in nuclear weapons and she wants to use nuclear energy only for peaceful purposes, the Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, is understood to have told a visiting Japanese delegation here today. The delegation led by Dr. Masatoshi Matsushita, President of the Japanese Organising Committee for Peace and Against Nuclear Weapons met the Prime Minister and invited a seven member Indian delegation to the Asian international conference of peace and against nuclear weapons to be held in Tokyo from July 27.  The Prime Minister told the delegation: "I do not think that the possession of a bomb will make us stronger or help us in our defence. It may be all right from the point of view of usefulness, it does not serve the purpose. If we have it (the atom bomb), our neighbours will have it too and danger grows." The object of the Tokyo meet is to discuss the latest nuclear explosion by China.
