Warner hits 156, Australia blank NZ 3-0

Opener David Warner smashed his second straight hundred and Mitchell Starc bowled lethal reverse swing to spearhead Australia to a third big win over New Zealand in the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy here today. The Australian vice-captain was run out on the last ball of the innings for 156 off 128 balls — more than half of his team’s 264/8 total — with 13 fours and four sixes.
