Sancho leaves for Dortmund

New Delhi: The biggest star of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Jadon Sancho will not be taking any further part in the tournament as the attacking midfielder today left to attend to his club commitments for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. “Jadon has gone home. Dortmund has requested that he’s headed back to Germany, which is obviously a disappointment in terms of tournament,” England head coach Steve Cooper said on the eve of their pre-quarterfinal against Japan. — PTI
