Ronaldo, Esow win gold in Track Asia Cup

NEW DELHI: The medal rush continued for India as they grabbed 10 more medals — 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze — on Day 2 of the Track Asia Cup here on Tuesday. India had won 12 medals on Day 1. Ronaldo Laitonjam, who created an Asian record in the men's junior 200m time trial event, won the gold medal in the junior men’s sprint event to add to the two gold medals he won on Day 1. Rojit Singh won the silver for India. Meanwhile, Esow Alben won the gold medal in the elite men’s sprint event. Amarjeet Singh Nagi of India finished third. PTI
