Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli and actor-wife Anushka Sharma may have found the right way to boost the squad’s morale and take their mind off the on-field stress.

The couple hosted a dinner party at their residence in Mumbai on Tuesday, which was attended by teammates Yuzvendra Chahal, Himmat Singh, Dev Padikkal and Navdeep Saini among others.

To thank their sweet gesture, Chahal, Singh and Padikkal took to the social media to share the pictures from the evening.

‘Thank you for the wonderful dinner last night @virat.kohli @anushkasharma,’ wrote Chahal in a post on Instagram.

Himmat wrote: "Thank you @virat.kohli and @anushkasharma for hosting such a lovely dinner party," along with the photo on Instagram.

‘Thank you so much @virat.kohli and @anushkasharma for hosting us,’ wrote Padikkal.

After a string of losses in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League, they recently won their first game. Kohli in an interview had credited the victory to Anushka, saying she kept him motivated.

“I think over the last year or so, the best thing to have happened to me is my marriage. It’s changed my whole world. I have the most beautiful wife, the most beautiful person,” the Indian skipper said.

So far, the RCB has won only one game out of the eight matches played.

They next play Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday.
