Marin carries Hyderabad into PBL final

Reigning Olympics champion Carolina Marin came back from a game down to beat Sung Ji-hyun and steer Hyderabad Hunters into the final of the Premier Badminton League here today. Marin overcame Sun 13-15 15-10 15-9 in Hunters’ trump match to dash the hopes of Delhi Dashers in a gripping semifinal. Earlier, B Sai Praneeth set up the victory by beating Dashers' trump player Tian Houwei 15-9 15-8.

Warning for MCG pitch 

The Melbourne Cricket Ground has been given an official warning for producing a 'poor' pitch for the fourth Ashes Test, ICC said today. The fourth Boxing Day Test between Australia and England played at the venue was the only match of the five-Test series that failed to produce a result over the five days.
