Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James is currently the wealthiest player in the National Basketball Association (NBA), earning $2.29 per second.
 
His incomes ranked third in the professional players, behind boxer Floyd Mayweather and football player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kobe Bryant’s incomes ranked second in NBA as he earns $1.95 per second.
 
James averaged 25.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game this season. The calculations, based on contracts with teams and endorsements, were done by an American company called BlueFire Broadband.
 
Among the world’s top footballers, Cristiano Ronaldo makes $2.54 per second, while Lionel Messi earns $2.05 per second, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic takes away $1.28 per second.
 
Mayweather is the highest paid American professional athlete, with a salary of $105 million, which works out to $3.33 per second. — ANI
