New Delhi: Kapil Dev has tendered his resignation from the three-member Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) in the wake of the conflict of interest notice served to him by ethics officer DK Jain. The three CAC members — Dev, former women’s captain Shantha Rangaswamy and former India opener Anshuman Gaekwad — were issued notice by Jain on a complaint that they were part of CAC despite being directors of the players’ association. While Rangaswamy had earlier resigned from the committee, Gaekwad said that he is ready to resign if the “committee still exists”.
