Centurion, February 20

The Indian women’s cricket team would be aiming for a quick recovery from the setback it suffered in the last match when it takes on South Africa in the fourth T20 International here tomorrow. A win would give the visitors, who are leading 2-1 in the five-match series, a decisive 3-1 lead.

After convincing victories — by seven and nine wickets, respectively, in the first two T20 games — India lost the third match by five wickets.

A win tomorrow will make Harmanpreet Kaur and her girls the first Indian team to win two series on a single tour of South Africa. The hosts, though, would leave no stone unturned to deny India the second series win on the trot. They would be a much more confident unit tomorrow, thanks largely to seamer Shabnim Ismail’s five-wicket haul in the last match. Shabnim’s figures of 5/30 were the second-best by a South African in this format. — PTI
