Tarlochan Sondh rejoins Congress in presence of Capt Amarinder

CHANDIGARH: Senior Dalit leader from Banga Tarlochan Sondh, who had left the Congress party after being denied ticket in the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections on Thursday joined back in presence of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh here this evening.

Senior Dalit leader from Banga Tarlochan Sondh, who had left the Congress party after being denied ticket in the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections on Thursday joined back in presence of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh here this evening.

He had raked a controversy by hurling a shoe at Bikram Majithia in the September 2016 session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha.

Despite being an aspiring candidate, the Banga ticket was given to Satnam Kainth.
