Sunny Deol starts post election duties; father Dharmendra proud

Gurdaspur MP and Bollywood actor Sunny Deol on Saturday reviewed progress of work on the Kartarpur corridor at Dera Baba Nanak.

Sunny shared his pictures of reviewing the project at Kartarpur corridor on his Twitter handle.

He wrote: “Today, met teams at Sri Kartarpur Sahib corridor to review progress of corridor work.”

Following the post, his father Dharmendra tweeted that he was proud of him and how they would do their best for Gurdaspur.

He tweeted: “God bless you, I am proud of you my son. Let us do our best for our Gurdas pur.”

The 59-year-old BJP MP visited the Kartarpur corridor site for the first time after winning the Lok Sabha polls. The construction of Kartarpur corridor on the Indian side is expected to be complete by September 30.

Earlier this month, the newly elected MP faced wrath of the people in Gurdaspur after he posted a video of his vacation in Kaza on Instagram.
