Social media post praises accused

Fatehgarh Sahib, June 25

Though the family members of Maninder Singh, one of the accused in the Nabha jail murder case of dera follower Mohinder Pal Bittu, disappeared from their Bhagrana village house yesterday, but a post is widely in circulation on social media eulogising the action of Maninder Singh for killing Bittu.

The post not only appreciates the action of revenge but also makes an appeal to people to help the family financially for fighting his case. The appeal has been made by one Lucky Bhagrana mentioning his cell phone number. He has also mentioned the bank particulars of the family in which the financial aid has to be credited. He has also mentioned the cell phone numbers of Gulzar Kaur, mother of murder accused Maninder Singh, and his brother Sandeep Singh.

Amneet Kondal, SSP, expressed ignorance about the post and said she would inquire into the matter.
