The police claim to have recovered a .32 bore revolver and five live bullets, a mobile phone with Italy number from their possession.

Those arrested have been identified as 24-year-old Gurjant Singh, who has launched a Punjabi music album, of Jajja village in Amritsar, and 35-year-old Surjit Singh alias Kalu, a farmer of Mawa village in Amritsar. Following a tip-off, STF Ludhiana incharge Inspector Harbans Singh had laid a checkpoint on Rahon road at Mattewara where the duo was allegedly caught with drugs.
