Rescue operation on as fire breaks out at Ludhiana hosiery factory

LUDHIANA: A major fire broke out at hosiery factory on Bhadurke Road in the wee hours of Friday. There were multiple blasts owing to the petroleum products stored there.

A major fire broke out at hosiery factory on Bhadurke Road in the wee hours of Friday.

Following the fire in the two-storey building there were multiple blasts owing to the petroleum products stored there.

The fire at JM Hosiery started around 1.35 am and fire tenders were rushed to the place. Firemen are still trying to douse the blaze.

A month ago, a fire had broken out in the same factory. The entire building had suffered huge cracks and a portion of the building had also collapsed.

Ram Ashish, a factory worker, went missing in the factory and his son was frantically looking for him.
