CHANDIGARH: Rains made a comeback in region on Saturday, ending a nearly week-long dry spell and bringing the temperature down to a comfortable level.

Rains made a comeback in region on Saturday, ending a nearly week-long dry spell and bringing the temperature down to a comfortable level.

The weather office has forecast thunderstorm with showers later in the day.

According to private weather agency Skymet, light intensity rains will continue at a few places over Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh for the next 24 to 48 hours.

It said humidity level will also remain on the higher side.
