RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Total Allocation  Rs 4,109c

  • Rs 3 cr for a pilot project to establish solid waste management systems 
  • Rs 50 cr for starting a pilot project to set up liquid waste management systems 
  • Rs 20 cr for providing housing to rural poor under Pendu Awas Yojana

HEALTH
Total Allocation Rs 3,465 cr 

  • Rs 978.12 cr for NHM
  • Rs 22.50 cr for 258 new wellness centres
  • Rs 60 cr for cancer centres at Hoshiarpur, Fazilka and Amritsar
  • Rs 14 cr under the National AYUSH Mission

POLICE
Total Allocation Rs 6,290 cr

  • Rs 6.76 cr security allocation for CM
  • Rs 1.37 cr for STF against drugs
  • Rs 10 cr for secret service expenditure  
  • Rs 160.8 cr for Bureau of Investigation — a raise of nearly Rs 17 cr than last year

SCHOOL EDUCATION
Total Allocation Rs 11,000 cr

  • Sanitary napkins to all girl students in government schools
  • 1,155 physical education teachers to impart self-defence training to girls
  • 6% annual increase in budgetary allocation of all state universities
  • Rs 50 cr for new colleges’ construction

AGRICULTURE
Total Allocation Rs 8,969 cr 

  • 200 cr for Krishi Vikas Yojana 
  • Rs 5.50 cr for upgrading soil health labs
  • Rs 60.49 cr under National Horticulture Mission 
  • Rs 10 cr for setting up horticulture estates

POWER
Total Allocation Rs 17,812 cr 

  • Rs 1,916 cr for free power to SC/BC consumers 
  • Rs 8,969 cr for farm sector subsidy n Rs 1,513 cr for power subsidy to industry
  • Rs 3,000 cr for pending power subsidy bill
