Ludhiana, January 19

Rajya Sabha MP and national spokesman for the AAP Sanjay Singh, while ruling out alliance with the Congress at the national or state level, stated that the AAP would go it alone in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections in four states — Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Goa. The party would support those regional parties/ alliances in other states which were capable of defeating the NDA, like SP-BJP in UP, he said.

Sanjay Singh was interacting with mediapersons after attending court in connection with the defamation case filed against him by former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia here today.

Sanjay Singh said leaders like Khaira were not only harming the party, but also causing a serious damage to the interests of the state.

On apology by Arvind Kejriwal to Majithia, he claimed that “visualising a deep-rooted conspiracy hatched by the NDA to paralyse the functioning of the Delhi CM, the apology was tendered under a planned strategy of the party to ensure full attention on solving problems of the people in Delhi”. Meanwhile, Judicial Magistrate Jagjit Singh today adjourned the hearing in the defamation case till January 30.
