Chandigarh, November 14

The Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), the organisation banned by the Centre, has offered to reimburse $20 fee for pilgrims to Kartarpur corridor.

In a message on its website, the SFJ had asked pilgrims to send them fee receipts and identity proofs for getting the reimbursement. The SFJ is seeking the Sikh Referendum-2020 besides allegedly funding objectionable anti-India activities.

Notably, the Punjab Government and the SGPC have been asking each other to refund the amount. Many pilgrims have alleged that the fee was too high due to which they could not visit the Kartarpur gurdwara. The state government has not reacted officially to the SFJ offer. However, police officers said the SFJ was a banned organisation and anyone dealing with it may invite legal action.
