Fazilka man stabs cousin to death

Fazilka, May 22

A labourer, Sunil Kumar (28), was allegedly killed by his cousin Bunty Kumar with a sharp-edged weapon at Khuikhera village in the district today.

SHO Jaswant Singh said Bunty wanted to have relations with Sunil’s wife, a mother of three children. But when Sunil opposed his move, the accused allegedly killed him.

Sunil’s brother Sandeep Kumar, an eyewitness, told the police that Bunty stabbed his brother in the stomach with a sharp-edged weapon. Sunil was rushed to the local civil hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Jaswant Singh said Bunty had been booked under Section 302 IPC. — OC
