Former SGPC member Gora back with SAD

MUKTSAR: Three-time SGPC member Gurpal Singh Gora, who had left the SAD in protest against sacrilege incidents, today rejoined the party following a meeting with former CM Parkash Singh Badal, SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal at their residence at Badal village here.

Three-time SGPC member Gurpal Singh Gora, who had left the SAD in protest against sacrilege incidents, today rejoined the party following a meeting with former CM Parkash Singh Badal, SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal at their residence at Badal village here.

Gora (67), who hails from Fakkarsar village in Malout, had won the SGPC election in 2011, with a margin of 37,000 votes. He had resigned from the SGPC on October 15, 2015, in protest against sacrilege incidents. — TNS
