Sangrur, April 22

Demanding the immediate shifting of liquor vend from their village, residents of Munshiwala on Monday protested in front of the Sangrur Deputy Commissioner's office.  "Earlier, the liquor vend was outside Munshiwala village, but some days back the owner shifted it inside the village. We will not accept this at any cost.

Today, we met Sangrur DC Ghanshayam Thori who assured us that he would look into the matter. We will start an agitation if the authorities fail to shift the vend outside the village," said Dinesh Bansal, Sangrur halqa incharge of AAP.
