Morinda to have railway underpass

Cabinet minister Charanjit Singh Channi said traffic congestion on bus stand road at Morinda would ease in near future after the construction of a railway underpass.

Channi, who held a meeting with officials of the Railway and Public Works Department in this regard here on Wednesday, said he had already written to the Railways seeking approval for the construction of the underpass. He said the PWD officials had been asked to prepare estimate plan for this project so that the work could be started without any delay. — TNS
