Molestation: AAP MLA surrenders; given bail

Ropar, December 6

Aam Aadmi Party leader and local MLA Amarjit Singh Sandoa, who is facing a case of molestation, today surrendered before Chief Judicial Magistrate Pooja Andotra and furnished bail bond.

He furnished personal bond of Rs 25,000 and a surety of the same amount.

The police had presented charge sheet against Sandoa in the court on November 21, following which the court had summoned the MLA on December 12. Sandoa had sought anticipatory bail, but his plea was rejected. He was told that if he surrendered before the court in seven days, he might be given bail. — TNS
