At least four persons died in road accidents in Abohar and neighbouring Rajasthan segments.

Vikram (22), labourer of Kallarkhera village, died as a car hit his motorcycle while he was returning home from a wheat purchase centre at Usmankhera village. A case has been registered under Sections 279, 304-A and 427 of the IPC.

Sukhdev Meghwal (11) died on the spot and his mother Guddi Devi and brother-in-law Ajay were injured as a JCB reportedly hit their motorcycle near Jhansal village on the Hanumangarh mega highway.

Vishal (12) died and his relatives Ravi (11) and Krishna Devi (35) sustained injuries as a tractor-trailer reportedly hit them when they were trying to cross a road outside Rampura village in Hanumangarh.

Kalu Ram (35), labourer of Udasar village, died as an unidentified vehicle hit his bike near Pallu on the Hanumangarh road.
