The first jatha, from the Indian side to Kartarpur, is expected to cross over by 1 pm on Saturday, after inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On the Pakistan side, the inaugural ceremony of the corridor is being held between 1 pm and 2 pm.

As per the revised itinerary, the PM will land at Sultanpur Lodhi at 9 am, pay obeisance at Gurdwara Ber Sahib before going to Dera Baba Nanak at 10.30 am.

Before inaugurating the Integrated Check Post and flagging off the first jatha, the PM will address a rally near the BSF post at Shikhaar Masiahan near Dera Baba Nanak and partake langar.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is expected to receive the PM at Sultanpur Lodhi. At Dera Baba Nanak, Governor VP Singh Badnore will receive him. — TNS
