Kulwinder Singh (33), a resident of Kot Ise Khan village in the Zira sub-division of Ferozepur district, who was residing in Malaysia for the last few years, allegedly committed suicide.
Kulwinder had gone to Malaysia almost eight years ago along with his wife Sukhdeep Kaur in search of greener pastures.
Niranjan Singh, father of the deceased, said recently his daughter-in-law returned from Malaysia.
“There was no problem. Kulwinder was in touch with us. He was talking to us every day. Two days ago, we were informed by the Malaysian Police that our son’s body was found hanging in a park with a swing. They found our phone number and informed us,” Kulwinder’s father added.
Kulwinder is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
