Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Congress President Rahul Gandhi would be in Mohali on December 10 to celebrate the re-launch of ‘Navjivan’ -- a Hindi newspaper published by The Associated Journals Ltd -- at a function to be held at GMADA Sports Complex, Sector 78.
Earlier, the event was planned in Ludhiana but the venue was changed to Mohali.
Though the paper had been re-launched in June 2017, the function is being held now, said sources in Congress.
On the occasion, a commemorative publication to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi would also be released.
A senior party leader said invites were being sent on behalf of All-India Congress Committee (AICC) treasurer Motilal Vora, who is also the chairperson of Associated Journals Limited (AJL).
